Canyon Creek (Opho Canyon) in the Sierra is high on my list of favorite canyons. It starts off with a rappel into a mine with flowing water. After about 15–20 minutes you emerge back into the sunlight and begin boulder hoping down the canyon. Soon the technical section begins with a multi-stage waterfall followed by about 19 more rappels in the water. Narrow sections, big falls, swims and blackberries!
